Megumi's Anecdote

Within 5 years after I moved to Austin,  I developed a severe allergy to cedar.  If you have a cedar allergy, you should know -- I was miserable and hopeless.  My nose was completely blocked and incapacitating me -- I couldn’t breathe, think, eat, talk and sleep sufficiently without air coming in through my nose. I took Zyrtec, Benadryl, and Claritin but nothing worked.  I did acupuncture and took some awful tasting Chinese herbal decoctions, but my nose was still completely blocked.  It was embarrassing for me to see patients with a clogged nose. I felt defeated.

When I was in acupuncture school, I learned about NAET®, and I learned it can be used to eliminate allergies and more! It sounded too good to be true! Unfortunately, NAET® wasn’t taught in school.  I could only learn it once obtaining my professional license.  In 2010, I was able to get the permit to practice NAET® after learning it directly from Dr.  Devi Nambudripad, the original developer of NAET®.  Since I was brand new to it, my colleague helped me to practice, and treated me for my allergy to cedar. It was the moment of truth!  At the 25th hour after an NAET®  treatment with cedar, my nose opened!  I was stunned. This experience gave me the clarity I needed to learn more about NAET® and use it in my practice to help so many people who suffer from allergies like me.  NAET® now, of course, is a primary methodology I use to treat my patients and has helped many patients overcome their allergies by treating the root cause.
