Our Policies

Cancellation/No Show Policy

Bamboo Field NAET & Acupuncture requires 24-hour notice for ANY reason the patient is unable to make their scheduled appointment.

In today’s hectic world, unplanned issues (or events) come up for all of us. If you need to cancel an appointment, please do so a minimum of 24 hours in advance so that others needing treatment can take advantage of the open time slot. If you do not cancel 24 hours in advance or no show, you WILL be charged the normal rate for that session. Our intention is not to collect missed appointment fees, but to provide timely treatments for all our patients. Your cooperation and consideration are greatly appreciated. To cancel or reschedule your appointment, please email us at admin@bamboofieldnaet.com, or call or text us at 512-431-7997 You may also click here to do so from our online scheduling system by signing into your account if you created one, or you can reschedule from the link you received in your emailed appointment confirmation when the appointment was scheduled.

Exceptions: Medical/dental emergencies, illness, death in the family, car accidents, etc.

No exceptions: No shows, change of your work or school schedule, meetings, traffic, someone else’s lateness (i.e.. your service man was late, thus you could not make the appointment), etc. If you think your schedule for the day of the appointment is uncertain, please reschedule to a day you know you won’t miss the appointment.

Late Appointment Arrival

In the Treatment Room

  • Please turn off your cell phone.

  • Please refrain from wearing cologne, perfume, or strongly scented lotion on the day of your appointment since you or some of our patients may be sensitive or allergic to them.

  • No chewing gum is allowed as it affects the treatment.

  • It may be difficult to continue treatment with an overly hungry child. If the treatment is cut short due to hunger, you will be charged for a full visit. Please do not come hungry or overly full.

  • Please don’t use hand sanitizer after you have washed your hands.

NAET® Protocol

Patients who will be treated with the NAET® protocol will be asked to sign a consent prior to treatment.

Most of the time, you will be avoiding ingesting or touching certain foods/drinks or substances for 25 hours after the treatment. If you have scheduled an NAET® treatment, please commit to the avoidance prescribed. If you can’t commit to the avoidance, you shouldn’t get an NAET® treatment as it may make you feel ill. If you choose not to get a treatment while at the appointment, you will still be charged for the appointment in full. Please be careful when you schedule an NAET® treatment and be clear of social obligations that may make your avoidance impossible within 25 hours after the treatment.
