Acupuncture

The method proven to work for the last 5,000 years.

Acupuncture is an eastern medicine treatment method which consists of insertion of very thin, sterilized needles on your body to unblock, harmonize and restore energy (known as Qi: pronounced as chee) imbalance in your body. These chosen points are on the body's meridians and have therapeutic effects. It is used mainly to relieve discomfort associated with a variety of conditions. Acupuncture is commonly used for pain, but as it gains more recognition, is also used for stress relief and overall wellness.

For our acupuncture treatments, we specialize in Dr. Tan’s Balancing Method. This acupuncture method is known for its quick and effective results. Since this method provides healing through meridian balancing, often opposite parts of the body are used to treat pain. For example, to treat right shoulder pain, the left knee may be getting acupuncture. This method is proven to be very effective and it's common for patients to see immediate relief right on the treatment table, but generally, repeated regular treatments are recommended.

While acupuncture is a great tool for treating pain and stress, using adjunctive therapy, such as allergy elimination (NAET®), nutritional and herbal treatment, lifestyle and diet modification can make more effective and long lasting results. Whatever it takes, the goal is to reverse your condition to the desirable one. We highly recommend combining a variety of treatment methods to attain the best outcomes, so that you can enjoy your life fully!
